Our Review

The Kozyard Alexander Hardtop Aluminum Permanent Gazebo is one of the sturdiest backyard gazebos on the market. This gazebo includes a rust-free aluminum frame that can withstand 40 mph winds, 2,500 pounds of snow, and fifteen pounds hanging from the roof. The hardtop helps the gazebo stay safe when the worst elements are pushing against the structure. The Kozyard includes a state-of-the-art gutter system in which water always slides down the poles, keeping everyone and everything dry inside. The netting is made of durable PBV-coated polyester and attaches to a removable steel railing on each side of the structure. The Kozyard includes a double tack system, so the second layer of netting or privacy curtain can be added as needed.

The Kozyard is not the cheapest on the market, but it not the most expensive gazebo on the market either. This gazebo will typically run between $1,300 and $1,600. The gazebo weighs over 258 pounds and typically takes six hours for two to three people to install. It may be best to hire an individual to install the gazebo. This product will cover enough space for over 12 people and is aesthetically pleasing to anyone who sees it in your yard.

Our Review

The Sunjoy 10’ X 12’ Monterey Gazebo with Netting, Gray and Black may be the least costly gazebo on the list. At only $299.99, this gazebo offers elegance and full-sided mosquito netting. The gazebo is soft-top with curved metal patterns throughout the corner panels. The set up is easy through the gazebo’s AIM system. The gazebo even includes a hook under the canopy to add a beautiful plant or lighting to complete the look.

This rust-resistant aluminum and steel gazebo can help cover most yards or parties. It is recommended that the canopy be taken off when it begins to rain or snow to protect the canvas.

Choosing the Best Gazebo with Mosquito Netting

Entertaining outside is wonderful! The sun and fresh air, or the cool night sky can make an event even more enjoyable. And then nature happens. There could be a horrible gust of wind. Maybe the rain starts to come down before you have the chance to go indoors. And the bugs! Oh, those bugs! They can ruin any event outdoors, making you wish you never even thought to entertain outside. Unless you have a gazebo with mosquito netting to help make a party last no matter how much nature attempts to interfere. Purchasing a gazebo with mosquito netting may be the best outdoor purchase you ever make for your home.

Our Options

We tested & reviewed five different gazebos. Each gazebo has a proper place for consumers. The gazebos each include the mosquito netting with the product, making that an easy piece of the puzzle. As seen above, while the hardtop may be more appealing, the change to a canvas canopy makes the price decrease by at least $900. However, the canvas product may not be able to withstand severe snow and wind in the same manner the hardtop gazebos can.

In addition, when purchasing the gazebo, it is essential to determine whether you want to hire others to install the gazebo or if you want to install it on your own. In addition, the MasterCanopy is difficult to find in the marketplace; therefore, it becomes instantly less desirable.

Each product has wonderful client reviews. This, of course, does not make the decision any easier. In all honesty, the gazebos have their proper place in each home environment. However, our job is to help you find the best gazebo with a mosquito net.

Based on our research, we would recommend the Kozyard Alexander as the best gazebo with mosquito netting. The Kozyard is the sturdiest gazebo of the group. It can withstand all the weather elements. In addition, the Kozyard can be easily installed with a few friends and a couple of hours.

Finally, the PBV Resistant mosquito netting allows it to provide the best protection against the pesky biting insects that are out to ruin your outdoor experience.

Why Do I Need a Gazebo with Mosquito Netting?

The question should really be why wouldn’t you need a gazebo with mosquito netting. An outdoor gazebo makes entertaining outside a completely different experience. It essentially provides a roof while still allowing the smells and feels of the outdoors to enter your party. It really gives you the best of all worlds. Adding the mosquito netting is essential to truly creating an amazing outdoor entertainment experience. The netting allows the sights, sounds, and scents of the outdoors into your party without the feel of the bug bites and afterparty reactions to those lovely bites. If you like to entertain and enjoy the fresh air while doing so, you cannot afford to be without a gazebo with mosquito netting.

The most important piece to any gazebo should always be the mosquito netting. The netting is the piece that truly helps protect you and your guest from becoming the dinner of swarms of mosquitos and other biting bugs. The netting, in some places and certain times of year, work better than any type of bug repellent or candle that is meant to keep your area free from pesky intruders looking to use you as their next meal.

What Are My Gazebo Choices?

There are numerous types of gazebos on the market. There are many issues that can impact the best gazebo or your needs. Issues such as size, material, and cost can all be key factors in deciding which gazebo with mosquito netting is best for you. Here are several issues that should be considered when purchasing a patio gazebo with mosquito nets.

Size

Gazebos come in a variety of sized. Most backyard gazebos range from a 10X10 gazebo to 12X16 and many sizes in between. Unless you are choosing a flat-top canopy, type covering, most backyard gazebos are 120 inches high. Therefore, it is important that the space you choose for your gazebo does not have any low hanging trees. Part of the issues regarding the size includes determining how you wish to use your gazebo to help you determine the best size of the gazebo you wish to purchase.

Material

Gazebos are available in many different types of material. You can purchase a gazebo made of canvas and steel. You may also find gazebos made of rustproof aluminum and steel. It is very possible to find gazebos with a combination of materials that will help protect you and your guests from the elements while looking beautiful. Mosquito Net Options

Mosquito nets are an essential part of choosing the best gazebo for you. Many gazebos come with the mosquito net. However, you may also choose to add a net after your purchase your gazebo. The reality is that the gazebos that have the net included will ensure your chosen gazebo will be available for usage right away. Also, if you are buying a gazebo with a net already included, make sure the net is replaceable. In addition, make sure the cost to replace the netting is not more than the gazebo itself. You do want to know where to get replacement mosquito netting, should you need to in the future.

If you choose to purchase the mosquito netting after you purchase your gazebo, make sure the gazebo has the proper equipment to add the netting. Furthermore, make sure you find the proper netting for the model of the gazebo you have purchased. This will ensure your netting fits the gazebo as intended and always keeps the mosquitos out or your gazebo.

What Are the Uses of a Gazebo?

A gazebo has numerous uses. You can use them for outdoor marketing events. They can be used for entertainment purposes. They can also be used as parts of a garden for both aesthetic purposes and to host public events. You may have very specific uses for the gazebo you are considering. However, as you learn more about gazebos and their different uses, you may find you change your mind as to the type of gazebo you wish to buy. Here are some of the most popular uses for gazebos.

For Marketing Events

One type of gazebo that is portable, is the event canopy gazebo. These are typically made of steel and canvas material. They typically have the name of the company on the hood of the gazebo and attract people to a “booth” while providing some shelter from the basic elements. These are very inexpensive and not overly sturdy. They are meant to be taken down after each use to protect, as they often cannot withstand the prolonged exposure to the elements.

For Weddings and other events

Many times, an outdoor wedding may include a tent or a gazebo to protect the wedding in the event of rain, snow or other element issues that can affect the success of the party. These are extremely sturdy gazebos that are often costly. They tend to be made of rust-proof steel and plastic or vinyl. Sometimes, they include netting to allow fresh air in and keep mosquitos and other bugs out. These are almost always industrial quality so they can be used repetitively and yet remain portable in case the gazebo needs to travel to the event, as opposed to the event traveling to the gazebo.

For the Garden at Home or at a Public Location

The type of gazebos that are seen in the movies are often gazebos made of wood that stand tall in the middle of a garden. Sometimes the garden and gazebo are part of a person’s backyard. However, other times the gazebo is part of the garden or outside ambiance on public property or for public use. For instance, thee gazebos may be found in parks for live music and speakers to utilize. Sometimes, they are part of a wedding establishment and are used for wedding ceremonies. Gazebos can add a lot of charm to outdoor living spaces and are perfect for entertaining.

These types of gazebos are not portable. They are meant to stay in place and add ambiance and use to the area. If the gazebo is part of a private home property, it is meant to add to the beauty of the garden and overall area. These gazebos are not typically used for seating several people for a meal or visiting, as they typically are not large enough to accommodate that many people.

For Your Backyard Ambiance and Entertainment

Many families are opting to add a backyard gazebo to create an outdoor oasis and entertainment area. These gazebos are often very portable and are designed to be open, allowing open air to enter the space. They often include canvas coverings and even mosquito netting to prevent mosquitos from ruining the event.

Most people will create a living area or dining area under the backyard gazebo to allow guests to sit back and relax while enjoying the outdoor ambiance and feel. The owner of the gazebo will find it most exciting to invite people to their home and enjoy a fun evening outdoors, yet protected from the sun, rain, and even wind.

Conclusion

Choosing a gazebo is a very personal decision. You know the size you need, the budget you have, and how you want to use it. Once you know the size of your space, the budget you can afford, and the way in which you want to use your gazebo, the decision basically narrows itself down. Our extensive research determined the Kozyard Alexander Gazebo is the best gazebo with mosquito netting for most households and provides the best quality for the money.
